One of the greatest things about the invisible deck is the number of effects you can perform with it.

Here are a few:

ORIGINAL PRESENTATION:

You take out an invisible deck of cards (which means you mime). You shuffle the deck and then have a spectator choose a card (they mime too - it's fun). They look at their card and say what it is. They then put it face down in the same deck.

You then take out a real deck of cards and thumb through it. But look, one card is face down. The spectator's chosen card!

DAVID BLAINE PRESENTATION:

A spectator is asked to imagine a card in their mind. Any card they want that's not the ace of spades. They then imagine the card turning over in their mind. You pull out a deck of cards and thumb through, the chosen card is face down in a face up deck.

POINTS TO NOTE:

The invisible deck is simple and easy to perform.

As a magic effect it's very direct and powerful.

It resets instantly and you can go off and do it again straight away.
